On June 4, 2026, the community gathered at the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History for “An Evening with Ronnie Nichols,” an evening of conversation, reflection, and celebration honoring the life, work, and storytelling of Ronnie A. Nichols—artist, author, and historic preservationist.
The evening brought together guests for a Southern-themed reception, meaningful conversation, and an intimate fireside chat hosted by Mikki Taylor, Editor-at-Large for ESSENCE Magazine.
